after boxing day Sale

Here is another story that would start on 27th of December;
Here is my point of view:

  • First few days would pass by placing and adjusting the new things those came in the house as a result of boxing day.
  • Then ultimately the new would find their way in the house and they would become part of the house and they would be used as the people were using other things before boxing day.
  • The old things would loose their importance and they would be moved in Garage or Basement or they would be gifted to someone else.
  • After some time they would be considered as junk in the house even though they are valuable things and they can be productively be used for another couple of years or more.

Here is the point:

What is the best way to deal with these things?

Being an economist, I would prefer them to sell or second priority is to give these to Thrift Store and they would sell these things at their store.

Why is it important to sell these things through a website like http://www.mutualbargains.ca/ ???

Here again, being an economist, I believe that one would use it in a productive way so as to retrieve the maximum benefits from it. And only those would buy these things who really need them and they want to use things.

What those items could be?

Those could be any items which we use at home but as remineder I would give a list here to remind you that these items could be used again.

The products may include the following items:Autos, Cars, Vehicles, vans, Spareparts, Boats, watercraft, campers, trailers, RVs, classics and Collectibles, Motorcycles, Passenger vehicles, parts and accessories Furniture items like Sofa, bed, chair, cabinet, table, Dining Table, carpet, couche, loveseat,Garage Sales could be advertised very successfully.Pets and Animals: Birds, Cats, Dogs, Exotic Animals, Farm and Ranch Animals, Horses, Pet Adoption, Pet Supplies, Rabbits and Small Mammals, Reptiles and Amphibians, Fish and Marine Merchandise and Products: Appliances, Home and Garden, Books, Clothing, Computer, Software, Flags, Flowers, Gifts, Movie, Music, Video Games, Tickets, Travel, Toys, Games, Hobbies,Services Include the Following Items:Automotive Repair & DealershipChild Care and Other Child ServicesConsulting and other professional servicesFood And CookingHealth, Fitness, Beauty & MasageHome, Office Care and ImprovementsMoving and StoragePet Care and KennelsPrint AdvertisingReal Estate and HousingTutoring and Other Lessons

MutualBargains.ca and Boxing Day

Today I woke up early morning and find a list that was made yesterday and looked again with critical analysis. Tried to find some stuff which is really cheap. I like boxing day event in a sense that generates economic activity and that has long lasting effects on the economy. Visited 6 or more stores and saw people buying things even they do not need them because they were on sale.

Here is a question:

Are these things are really cheap or there is mathematical or marketing glitch hidden somewhere in side?

I started analysing the prices since I was in University and that is hard to calculate if a thing is really cheap and that depends on too many things. Since boxing day has become a tradition, it is hard to stay at home so definitely visited the stores and bought some stuff. The most busy place was the famous electronics store but could not find the things those were really cheap as they could not afford to sell those in bulk. That's another dilema as you do not find what was on the flyer as they were only 5 or 10 pieces and they were gone in the morning. The what to do now, find something else which looks cheap. There were too many things those were cheap and people were buying those and were in big que. That's good to buy the things.

Here is another question:

What to do with the things those we already have at home?

Answer:

There are many possible way to deal with these things:

  1. Try to use the old and new things together at your own home.

  2. Give these as a gift to a friend or relative.

  3. Give these in Charity like Salvation Army.

  4. You may sell these used items for a good price or atleast at a reasonable price through a listing website like http://www.mutualbargains.ca/

Here is another question:

Do we really buy cheap things on boxing day?

This questions is hard to answers in Yes or No as they depends on personal calculations and the product they bought.
